Gastropods
Gastropods are the largest group of mollusca. There are about 62,000 species. Some live on land and others in freshwater. Gastropods are one of the two classes under mollusks that have a shell. Gastropods reproduce sexually, which means that both parents contribute genes. Some sea slugs are brightly colored, this either helps protect them by telling their predators that they are posionous or contain stinging cells. Gastropods are vegetarians, which means that they only eat plants. Gastropods move around on their muscular foot. -er
